RSEKN Project LeadsOne of four KNAER thematic networks, the Réseau de Savoir sur l’Équité | Equity Knowledge Network (RSEKN) will be hosted by the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Education and the Centre for Research on Educational and Community Services (CRECS). RSEKN is a bilingual and province-wide multi-stakeholder network of teachers, administrators, researchers, and community groups who share a commitment to removing barriers to equity and inclusion for marginalized and racialized children and youth. Co-led by Nathalie Belanger, Ruth Kane, and Nicholas Ng-A-Fook, RSEKN has also partnered with several universities, school boards, and community organizations to address five priority areas:

  1. Anti-Racist Education,
  2. Refugee and Newcomer Education,
  3. Inclusive Education for Students with Disabilities,
  4. Gender and Sexuality Education, and
  5. Minority Language Education in Pluralist Contexts
