Cover of the KTPC Casebook Volume 1We are pleased to share that KNAER has contributed to the new Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate Casebook Volume 1 as Case 7: Developing a Knowledge Mobilization Network Across an Education System.

This chapter was written by former KNAER Knowledge Mobilization and Project Manager, Shasta Carr Harris, and colleagues Kelly Bairos, Carol Campbell, and Katina Pollock of the KNAER Secretariat. It describes how the Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate™ (KTPC)  was important in providing “a review of current KT [knowledge translation] research literature, an opportunity to develop and receive feedback on a KT plan, to learn about social media as a KT tool, and the opportunity to network and build connections with other KTPs [knowledge translation professionals]” for KNAER.

In addition to the case study on KNAER, there are 9 other cases in Volume 1 representing different sectors and organization types including education, research, academia, healthcare, and consulting. If you’re looking to learn more about KNAER and knowledge translation, please download and read this casebook!
