In February 2014, the KNAER team had the pleasure of attending and presenting at the 2014 Ontario Education Research Symposium (OERS) in Toronto, Ontario for the 3rd year in a row.

We were fortunate enough to be able to talk about the KNAER in 3 different formats: a plenary talk given by our co-directors, Dr. Katina Pollock and Dr. Carol Campbell; a workshop on building knowledge mobilization plans led by managers Shasta Carr-Harris and Kelly Bairos; and a display table in the main lobby which featured the launch of our virtual Project Resource Toolkit (found here).

We met a lot of great people who were both interested in and/or already championing knowledge mobilization in education and beyond.  We made some great connections and were able to share the work of KNAER projects with people from all over Ontario.  Launching the virtual toolkit was a great success for us and we had a full room for our workshop on building knowledge mobilization plans.  Katina and Carol's plenary was also very well-received and presented some new and interested facts about KNAER.

We look forward to connecting with more attendees next year and hope to share more news from KNAER at the 2015 OERS.  See you there!
